Vehicle Crime Stay Alert

We have had several recent incidents of theft from motor vehicles and theft of motor vehicles across Whitewebbs.

Please take a moment to read the details and remain alert when securing your vehicles.

Recent Incidents:

If you have Ring doorbell, CCTV or any home security camera, please stay alert and review any recent recordings, around the dates and times of these incidents. Even a brief clip of suspicious activity could assist ongoing enquiries. 

Your Vigilance helps us reduce opportunities for offenders and keep the neighbourhood safe. 

What we have been doing: 

Safer Neighbourhood officers have been conducting high visibility patrols in affected areas, speaking with residents and carrying out door to door visits. We have also been reviewing CCTV submissions and working closely with our crime investigation to identify patterns and potential suspects.

What we will be doing next:

We will continue targeted  patrols, increase our presence during peak times, and carry out further crime prevention visits/

Officers will be also engaging with residents who have CCTV or ring doorbells to gather any relevant  footage.

additional security advice will be provided to households in hotspot locations.
